Thai pianist Aruth Masrangsan, active on both the contemporary piano and the historical practice of fortepianos; he holds a master's degree in Classical Piano with a specialization in Historical Keyboards. He was awarded 2nd prize at the MA Fortepiano Competition in Bruges and has been performing on the fortepianos in various places across Europe, with the implementation inspired by the 19th century improvisatory tradition.
He is currently undergoing the post-graduate studies under Ellen Corver at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague and under Vsevolod Dvorkin at the Conservatorio di musica "Vecchi Tonelli" in Modena.
Aruth was funded throughout his bachelor's and master's studies by Adrianna Jacobba Fonds. He studied with Ellen Corver, Denys Proshayev, Bart van Oort, Petra Somlai, and Richard Egarr, and he received Cuypers Fund Prize for the best piano final presentation for both his bachelor's and master's degrees presentation in 2023 and 2025. He was also awarded a grant from Stichting De Zaaier for his master's research on the 'modernization of Beethoven's music through the teaching of Liszt' in 2024.
His other competition achievements include the 1st place and the Grand Prix at the Third Piano Island Competition in Singapore (2018), the Outstanding Performance Award at the 6th NTD International Piano Competition in New York (2023), and 3rd prize at the International Piano Competition Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden (2024).

Duo Potpourri, consists of Filippo Zaccaria and Aruth Masrangsan, breathes fresh air into the classical tradition of arranging; the name "Potpourri" is inspired by the medley-like pieces that were written in the 19th century on the most famous airs of the time. This is achieved by using historical composing techniques to arrange… video game music!
They are scheduled to present the next project, Black&White Cuphead, in Scala theater (Amsterdam) from May to July, combining arrangements of music from the retro game Cuphead with a silent comedy film by Roscoe Arbuckle and Buster Keaton.
